Job description

About the role
  • We are looking for a Robotics Engineer with a strong focus on algorithms, ML, and software to build intelligent robotic systems on top of diverse robot platforms. This role centers on developing and integrating perception, state estimation, planning, and learning-based behaviors while deploying them across AMRs, robotic arms, quadrupeds, and humanoids.
You will work closely with perception, ML, and software teams to integrate multi-sensor data into robust autonomy stacks and deploy them on real robotic platforms used for internal development, demos, and customer-facing systems. This is a hands-on software and algorithms role with high system-level impact.

What you'll do
  • Develop and integrate robotics algorithms and ML-based systems for perception, state estimation, planning, and control
  • Integrate multi-sensor perception outputs (camera, LiDAR, IMU) into autonomy and decision-making stacks
  • Build and maintain robot software stacks for diverse platforms (AMR, arm, quadruped, humanoid)
  • Implement and tune algorithms for localization, mapping, and sensor fusion; motion planning and trajectory optimization; learning-based behaviors and policies
  • Work closely with perception and vision teams to consume and validate ML-based outputs (detection, depth, tracking)
  • Deploy and optimize robotics software on embedded and edge compute platforms
  • Support integration of autonomy stacks into real robots for demos, testing, and customer use
  • Debug system-level autonomy issues spanning sensors, algorithms, and software interactions

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Robotics, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 6+ years of experience in robotics algorithms, autonomy, or robotics software engineering
  • Strong foundation in core robotics algorithms, including state estimation and sensor fusion; motion planning and control; localization and mapping
  • Strong software engineering skills in C++ and/or Python
  • Experience deploying robotics algorithms on real robotic platforms
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with ROS / ROS 2 and modern robotics middleware
  • Background in learning-based robotics, reinforcement learning, or imitation learning
  • Experience integrating ML models into real-time robotic systems
  • Familiarity with simulation tools and workflows (Gazebo, Isaac Sim, Mujoco, etc.)
  • Experience working across multiple robot morphologies (mobile, manipulation, legged)
  • Comfort working in a startup environment with ambiguity and rapid iteration

Benefits (subject to location and local regulations)
