ORTHOPEDIC REGISTERED NURSE- ORTHO RN CLINIC 5k SIGN ON BONUS



POSITION TYPE: Registered Nurse (RN) ORTHOPEDIC

SPECIALTY UNIT: ORTHO CLINIC  

LOCATION: Alamogordo, New Mexico

SHIFT: Days- 40 HRS

JOB TYPE: Full-Time Permanent


Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates professionalism, accountability, and effective collaboration in accordance with organizational and nursing standards.
  • Provides patient care using the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Addresses the physical, psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and their families based on individual care requirements.
  • Administers medications and treatments according to established policies and protocols; monitors patient response, side effects, and treatment effectiveness.
  • Accurately documents patient assessments, medical history, symptoms, medications, treatments, and care provided.
  • Assesses patient and caregiver learning needs and provides appropriate education, resources, and support to promote positive health outcomes.
  • Collaborates with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum of one year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred.

Licensure and Certifications

  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment or eligibility through a compact nursing license required.
