Where You Will Work:

The Medical Telemetry Observation Unit 6KLM is a 28 bed Unit. Most patients are admitted from the Emergency Department making it a great learning experience for new graduates and newly licensed nurses. You will care for a very diverse population with multiple diagnoses,with an average patient length of stay of 2 days.6KLM routinely cares for patients with chronic pulmonary diseases, pneumonia, wounds, various gastrointestinal issues, congestive heart failure, and see a great variety of procedures and medication drips. The culture and teamwork on the unit is outstanding and you will never be without help! This is a great unit to start yournursing career and gain experience as you develop your nursing process and practice.

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

  • As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
