Job description

SUMMARY:
Duties include assisting guests in the river and canopy areas. Handling cash and performing duties as assigned to ensure a safe and efficient operation. Providing excellent Customer Service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Determine which patrons will pay whether they are Cantina patrons or Beach patrons and monitor their whereabouts after parking at the Cantina. (Cantina patrons will park in a designated area at the Cantina and will not be charged). Collect payment for beach access; cash handling. Uphold and confirm reservations for Canopy from Sales Department. Clean, stock and lock up restrooms at when necessary. Assure the overall cleanliness of the beach and playground area - notify Grounds Department for assistance for trash, BBQ debris, etc. Knowledge of event and outlet hours for the entire property. Immediately notify Security of any misconduct, defacing or damage to property. Enforce rules of the Beach as established by Management. The working pattern is service determined and therefore will be subject to change (as appropriate) in order to meet the needs of the business. Working arrangements may include early morning, late evening and weekends. The River Ranger would be expected to go out in all weather conditions and because of the nature of their role, it is possible they will be exposed to people's physical/verbal abuse and aggression. Enforce RV parking areas. May be used as a Retail Attendant in other Retail outlets as needed. All other duties as assigned (non-gaming functions and issued gaming license permitting).
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. All Employees must be knowledgeable to all Company policies and procedures, including fire and safety regulations.
Basic reading, writing, math, and good computer skills are necessary. Excellent communication skills. Strong customer service skills and ability to problem solve. Knowledge of and experience working as a ranger preferred. Excellent interpersonal communication. Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Previous experience working in parks and/or preservation work preferred. Must have CPR/First Aid Training. Must have valid driver's license to operate company vehicles.

Centrally based outside and will be subject to various weather conditions depending on the time of year.
