Job Summary

We are helping our client find a Risk Manager. The Risk Manager oversees workplace injury cases, claims, and organizational risk strategies. This individual collaborates with leadership and internal stakeholders to strengthen compliance, improve reporting and analytics, and support long-term claim performance.


Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee occupational injury and workers’ compensation programs across multiple locations.
  • Develop and enhance policies, procedures, and governance standards related to claims management and loss prevention.
  • Partner with operational, human resources, safety, and finance teams to improve organizational risk performance and claim outcomes.
  • Supervise and evaluate the performance of claims and safety support personnel.
  • Manage escalated, high-exposure, or litigated claims and provide strategic guidance on resolution approaches.
  • Analyze claims trends, reserve activity, and financial exposure to support forecasting and risk mitigation efforts.
  • Collaborate with safety leadership to identify recurring injury patterns and implement preventative initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable workers’ compensation regulations and workplace safety requirements across relevant jurisdictions.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in workers’ compensation, occupational risk, claims management, or corporate risk leadership.
  • Experience supporting high-volume, multi-site, or operationally intensive organizations.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience required.
  • Professional certifications such as CRM, ARM, or similar credentials preferred.
  • Industry-specific experience is a plus.
