As our Risk Manager, you’ll play a critical role in protecting the financial strength, reputation, and people of our credit union. This is an opportunity for a proactive, analytical professional to make a meaningful impact by identifying risks before they become problems and developing innovative solutions that help safeguard our members, employees, and assets.

Working independently, you’ll lead the development, design, and implementation of proactive risk-management and fraud-prevention strategies that reduce financial, physical, reputational, and human risks across the organization.

In this role, you will:

  • Protect what matters most by identifying and mitigating risks that could result in loan and deposit losses, fraud, or other financial impacts.
  • Stay ahead of emerging threats by analyzing trends, identifying vulnerabilities, and developing innovative ways to prevent fraud and potential fraud.
  • Turn insights into action by communicating findings, providing thoughtful recommendations to management, and helping drive informed business decisions.
  • Strengthen our processes by overseeing procedural adjustments and ensuring prevention practices remain current, effective, and aligned with evolving risks.
  • Champion a culture of prevention by partnering across the organization to promote sound risk-management practices and continuously improve our approach to protecting the credit union.

Requirements:

Education:

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of training, education and experience.

Experience:

  • Minimum two years BSA, Risk Management, or Collections experience.
  • Proven success leading a team.
