Job Description Summary:

Under the direction of the Director, Nursing and Quality Risk Management, the Senior Manager of Clinical Quality Management provides strategic leadership for the organization’s Clinical Quality Management (CQM/QAPI) program, ensuring alignment with regulatory, accreditation and organizational goals. Collaborate with Dr. Nursing and Quality Risk management and Sr Manager Risk Management on the design, implementation, monitoring and continuous improvement of patient safety initiatives across service lines and settings. The Sr Manager Clinical Quality oversees quality measures, reporting and analysis, including clinical outcomes, patient safety indicators and performance benchmarks.

Job Description:

Job Responsibilities (listed in order of importance and/or time spent)

Oversee quality measurement, reporting, and analysis, including clinical outcomes, patient safety indicators, and performance benchmarks.

Partner with nursing, operations, risk management, infection prevention, and compliance to drive enterprise-wide quality improvement initiatives.

Leads the planning, reporting and analysis of patient safety, risk, and patient satisfaction data to the Quality Management Oversight Committee (QMOC).

Maintain quality dashboards and executive-level reporting, translating complex quality data into actionable insights for senior leadership and governing bodies.

Guide and mentor clinical staff, fostering a culture of high reliability, transparency, and continuous learning

Stay current on emerging quality, safety, and regulatory trends, incorporating best practices into organizational strategy.

Collaborate with IT and analytics teams to optimize clinical quality data integrity, abstraction, and reporting systems.

Support value-based care initiatives, population health strategies, and clinical effectiveness programs by integrating evidence‑based practice and performance improvement methodologies

Collaborates, coordinates and communicates with departments across the organization with emphasis on patient safety and satisfaction and risk mitigation.

Collaborates on the development and ongoing performance measurement, assessment and improvement of patient care processes and collaborates with the Quality and Clinical Services leaders to identify process and outcome indicators that effectively measure the quality of patient care services and reflect organizational performance.

Collaborate with Sr Dr Risk Management on reporting potential liabilities to VP, Quality & Risk Management and Legal Department.

When needed assists with a Complete and thorough review and assessment of medical records related to potential or actual litigation.

Supports activities to assure compliance with and maintenance of operational readiness for accrediting organizations and regulatory authority inspections or surveys.

Provides support and education for legal department in assessing legal complaints.

Provides ongoing education and communication to departmental leaders and staff related to quality   reporting.

 Supports Vice President, Nursing/Quality & Risk Management in initiation and management of emergency procedures and/or recalls as needed.

Collaborates with QRM team on effective implementation of the organization wide Quality Management Program, including an annual review of the effectiveness of the Program.

Basic Education and/or Experience Requirements

A licensed clinician with at least 7-10 years of progressive experience in healthcare quality, clinical performance improvement, or patient safety, with prior leadership or management experience.

Basic Qualifications

Familiarity with OSHA, CDC, recognized standards of care for services provided by Option Care Health, and other regulatory and accrediting agency standards such as ACHC and NAHQ

Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task.

Demonstrated experience leading QAPI/CQM programs in complex healthcare organizations (acute care, ambulatory, post‑acute, or managed care).

Advanced knowledge of CMS quality programs, regulatory requirements, and accreditation standards.

Proven expertise in performance improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, PDSA, High Reliability Organization principles).

Experience with clinical quality metrics, data analytics, and dashboard development

Strong executive communication skills, with the ability to influence clinical and operational leaders.

Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and policy/procedures.

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.

Ability to use spreadsheets and databases as well as track, trend and analyze data.

Physical Demand Requirements

Ability to sit at a desk, using computer and mouse for extended periods (up to 8 hr./day)

Ability to travel by vehicle or plane up to six hours/day (at least quarterly).

Travel Requirements:  (if required)

Willing to travel up to 25% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).

Preferred Qualifications & Interests (PQIs)

Participation in professional organizations related to patient safety, client satisfaction, or risk management.

Due to state pay transparency laws, the full range for the position is below:

Salary to be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

Pay Range is $97,113.10-$161,862.67
