Our Team:

We have an exciting opportunity to join our amazing Transmission Project Controls, Risk Management & EVM Team. This position will assist in the creation of project management reporting solutions and results analysis to support the respective business needs of our Risk Management & EVM Group.

The selected individual will be responsible for meeting with internal customers to gain a better understanding of their business needs, define report requirements, design meaningful reports, and perform forensic deep dive analysis of performance changes associated with Risk and EVM to help drive actionable solutions. In addition, the selected candidate will also provide user support by creating guides and performing end user training and reporting.

The role is based in Hookset, NH

Essential Functions:

  • Meets with internal customers to gain a better understanding of their business needs and collaboratively identifies best practice solutions and defines report requirements.

  • Gains a clear understanding end user workflow and utilizes a variety of Risk, EVM and performance reports to:

  • Validate results

  • Reconcile discrepancies when necessary

  • Develop actionable solutions based on changes in project performance data

  • Gains a clear understanding of the data and end user workflow to validate results, reconcile discrepancies when necessary.

  • Utilizes a variety of tools and methodologies to create useful reports with actionable information.

  • Generates bi-monthly Project Controls Summary reports

  • Designs, implements and help maintain reports, dashboards, and other business intelligence tools.

  • Monitors performance reports, performs forensic deep dive analysis of performance changes and makes recommendations to optimize or improve project execution.

  • Monitors data integrity. Assists in resolving data discrepancies between Project Controls reports and other sources.

  • Creates and maintains documentation including requirements, design, and end user manuals

Technical Knowledge/Skill/Education/Licenses/Certifications:

  • Must have expertise in one or more of the following areas:

    • Microsoft Power Platform: Power BI, PowerApps, and Microsoft Flow.

    • Primavera P6 Professional, EPPM, or OPC

    • Experience in Microsoft Excel and Access development. Proficiency with Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) programming, including ability to analyze, debug, and/or enhance existing VBA applications.

  • Exposure to Gateway services and handling user and app security

  • Excellent listening, communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.

  • Adept at producing detailed and accurate written documentation.

  • Ability to contribute both independently and as part of a team.

  • Ability to gain high-level understanding of the organization's business systems and processes.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, related discipline or equivalent experience.

Experience:

  • Three (3) to Five (5) years business and technical experience

Working Conditions:

  • Must be available to work emergency restoration assignment as required.

  • Must be available to travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary.

  • HYBRID SCHEDULE: Eversource supports work-life balance by offering hybrid schedules for certain roles. Eligibility is based on job responsibilities, operational needs, nature of work and team dynamics. Current guidelines require employees to workat least three days in the office, includingTuesdays and Wednesdays, with the third day set by the employee and supervisor based on department needs. These guidelines apply to roles approved for remote work and are subject to change, based on managerial discretion and work performance. All applicants must be able to workup to five days in the office if needed (for example: emergencies, training, or other business needs) or should the policy change.
