  • Prepare detailed construction drawings and plans using Revit and AutoCAD
  • Develop architectural layouts, sections, elevations, and construction details
  • Produce steel detailing and coordination drawings, particularly for pre-engineered metal buildings
  • Coordinate drawings with architects, engineers, and internal project teams
  • Revise drawings based on redlines, field conditions, RFIs, and design updates
  • Maintain organized and accurate project files and drawing sets
  • Support design-build efforts from conceptual design through final construction documents
  • Assist with 3D modeling and visualization as needed
  • Ensure drawings comply with applicable building codes and company standards
  • Collaborate with estimating and project management teams to enhance constructability
  • Participate in design coordination meetings and internal planning sessions
Qualifications
  • Associate's degree or technical certification in Drafting, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong working knowledge of Revit (required)
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD
  • Experience producing commercial construction documents
  • Understanding of building systems and construction methods, especially pre-engineered steel buildings
  • Experience with rendering/visualization software (Enscape, Lumion, or similar) is a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Self-motivated with a desire to grow within a design-build environment
