Job description

Remote - Approved US States
United States

Turn data, systems, and strategy into revenue growth.

At Spear Education, we're continuing to evolve how we bring our products, services, and education to the market. We're looking for a Senior Manager, Revenue Operations to help power that growth by connecting our systems, data, processes, and go-to-market teams.

This is a highly visible role within our Revenue Operations function. You'll be the person who can move comfortably between HubSpot architecture, data and integrations, revenue analytics, process improvement, and strategic business conversations.

We're looking for someone who doesn't just tell us what happened. You look at the data, understand why it happened, identify what matters, and help the business determine what to do next.

What You'll DoOwn Our GTM Systems & Data

You'll serve as the technical owner of our HubSpot ecosystem and the integrations that connect it across the business.

  • Design, build, and maintain integrations between HubSpot and other business systems
  • Own and optimize the HubSpot data model, including objects, properties, associations, workflows, and governance
  • Monitor integration health and troubleshoot data and synchronization issues to root cause
  • Reduce manual work through automation and thoughtful system improvements
  • Evaluate and optimize our go-to-market technology stack
  • Partner with vendors and internal stakeholders on system capabilities, improvements, and build-versus-buy decisions
  • Establish disciplined testing, documentation, and change management practices
Turn GTM Strategy into Better Processes

You'll help ensure our go-to-market strategy translates into processes that actually work.

  • Design and optimize the lead-to-cash process
  • Define lifecycle stages, lead routing, SLAs, deal stages, and handoffs across Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success
  • Identify friction and revenue leakage across the funnel
  • Use data to quantify opportunities and drive improvements in speed-to-lead, conversion, and pipeline velocity
  • Prioritize RevOps initiatives based on business and revenue impact
Protect the Integrity of Our Data

You'll help ensure our CRM and revenue data can be trusted.

  • Establish and maintain data standards, naming conventions, required fields, ownership, and enrichment practices
  • Conduct regular data quality audits and cleanup
  • Develop reporting and processes that identify data issues proactively
  • Ensure segmentation and reporting remain accurate as systems and business needs evolve
  • Partner with IT, Legal, and Marketing on appropriate handling of customer and contact data
Partner Across the Business

You'll work closely with Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Finance, Business Operations, and IT to turn business needs into effective solutions.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor rather than a ticket-taking function
  • Translate business objectives into clear technical requirements
  • Translate technical limitations and opportunities into practical business language
  • Influence decisions across teams without relying on formal authority
  • Drive adoption of new systems and processes through documentation, training, and ongoing support
What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is strategic enough to see the big picture and technical enough to get into the details.

You bring:

  • 7+ years of experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, Marketing Operations, GTM Systems, or a related discipline
  • Hands-on experience owning a CRM as an administrator, architect, or technical owner
  • Deep CRM expertise; HubSpot experience is strongly preferred, with comparable Salesforce or enterprise CRM experience considered
  • Strong understanding of CRM workflows, automation, data models, reporting, segmentation, and lifecycle/deal stage configuration
  • Experience integrating CRM platforms with other systems using native integrations, middleware, APIs, or webhooks
  • Comfort reading API documentation, working with JSON, and troubleshooting integration and data issues
  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills and experience with a BI platform such as Sigma, Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar
  • Strong process design skills and the ability to map workflows, identify failure points, and improve how work gets done
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Executive-level communication skills, including the ability to present recommendations and clearly explain the analysis behind them
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, and other functions
We'd Love to See
  • Experience with data warehouses and ETL/reverse-ETL tools such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Fivetran, or Census
  • Experience in a subscription, membership, or recurring-revenue business
  • Experience in education, healthcare, or dental
  • Familiarity with sales engagement, enrichment, conversation intelligence, CPQ, billing, or support platforms
  • HubSpot or comparable CRM certifications
  • Experience mentoring or leading analysts
How You'll Make an Impact

The best person for this role will bring a combination of strategic thinking, technical fluency, analytical rigor, attention to detail, and a strong bias toward action.

  • Our GTM teams have reliable systems and data they can trust
  • Leaders have clear visibility into funnel and revenue performance
  • Revenue opportunities and risks are identified earlier
  • Processes become easier, faster, and more effective
  • Teams actually adopt the systems and processes designed to help them
  • RevOps is viewed as a strategic partner to the business—not simply a support function
Why Spear?

At Spear Education, we're passionate about helping dental professionals become better clinicians and build better practices. We combine world-class education, technology, and innovative learning experiences to create meaningful outcomes for our members and customers.

You will join a team that values Service, Trust, Responsibility, Innovation, being Vested in the work, and Empowering others—our Spear STRIVE values. In this role, that means owning outcomes, being transparent about what's working and what's not, using data and customer insight to solve problems, and making sure the teams who depend on our systems have a voice.

If you're someone who loves solving complex problems, digging into the data, improving how a business operates, and turning strategy into execution, we'd love to hear from you.

We offer a competitive compensation package that includes a base salary ($110k-140k) plus incentive opportunities, along with comprehensive benefits designed to support you both at work and beyond, including:

  • Medical and dental coverage
  • Flexible Time Off (FTO)
  • Paid holidays

This is a remote opportunity (outside of Greater Phoenix market) or Hybrid in Scottsdale, AZ.

We are unable to hire employees in the following states: Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Massachusetts, Montana, New Hampshire, New York, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Vermont, Washington DC, and West Virginia.
