Role Description

As part of Albertsons Media Collective, retail media team you will complete the media campaign enablement workflow to ensure documented campaign milestones are completed within expected SLAs or sooner, as well as active problem solving throughout the campaign lifecycle to maximize omni-channel capabilities and performance to map our shoppers to brands.

This role has leadership of a defined business segment/category and management responsibilities of a team.

The position is in office 4 days per week and will be based in Pleasanton CA or Itasca IL.

Main responsibilities:

  • Expert organizational skills, great attention to detail and ability to implement and meet deadlines and manage multiple campaigns
  • Curate omni-channel media plans aligned to Collective best practices and end-to-end processes with strong media rational to drive CPG campaign performance
  • Review, pressure test, and interpret campaign briefs with corresponding media strategy
  • In partnership with peers, serve as the point of contact for product enhancement requirements tied to implementing media planning best practices at scale on owned book of business
  • Optimize operational metrics on owned book of business through process, tech & team development
  • Effectively manage team workload & support professional career development Collaborate
  • cross‑functionally to accelerate time‑to‑market and deliver strong results for CPG clients.
  • Develop performance best practices + training materials to educate cross teams for your defined book of business
  • Support Sales and Account Management teams in closing business by providing media expertise
  • Build strong ties across disciplines to produce successful campaigns, maintaining high levels of communication throughout campaign lifecycle and ensuring consistent high-quality deliverables across media planning & activation teams
  • Partner with analytics team to deliver insights & recommendations to tell a story rooted in data tied to the media activation
  • Ongoing media operations enablement of the Collective business metrics to achieve efficiency and effectiveness. Including participating & oversee user testing, training, and adoption of new product features. Stay up to date with competitive landscape, industry (especially Retail Media) and digital
  • advertising trends to influence future product offerings and ways of working
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication aptitude with Product Management, Technology,
  • Sales and Account Management, Audience, Measurement, Clients and MarTech / AdTech vendor partners

  • 5-6 plus years of experience in digital media planning and execution
  • End to end planning mindset – how do we do the optimal media approach at scale & deliver results
  • Innovative thinker & problem solver
  • Requires an individual that works well in a team-based, fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting skill and oversight of the implementation and integration of new emerging tools and/or technologies that will enable Albertsons Media Collective to work effectively and efficiently
  • Media knowledge: detailed understanding of assessing target audiences, media planning and buying techniques, evaluation of media performance and digital ecosystem acumen (ex. Understanding of ad tech)
  • People management and team leadership experience
