We are currently looking for a District Retail Manager to join our innovative, growing company. The District Manager is responsible for building and maintaining a team of Sales Representatives (mix of full and part-time employees). The District Manager is required to manage the Sales Representatives and drive sales in Big Box and Grocery accounts. The District Manager will work closely with the Regional Field Manager and be responsible for regularly communicating and tracking the field teams' performance to goal. In addition, the District Manager will be responsible for expense control and adherence to all company policies.

This position will work from a home office and will require flexibility to travel between 50% and 75% within your district to conduct field visits and on occasion visit the client/Acosta headquarters or meet with retailers.

  • 3-5+ years of prior management experience in retail, merchandising, training, sales and/or field marketing
  • Previous experience in retail sales and merchandising management in Grocery & "big box" strongly preferred
  • Home office space with Internet connectivity required

  • Serve as the main point of contact for the Sales Representatives in their assigned district who provide on-going sales, training, and merchandising execution for a variety of clients.
  • Will also be responsible for final interviewing and hiring of your team, managing all aspects of their training, scheduling and execution of visits, completion of all reports and overall performance of team to goal.  
  • Manages the field performance results and establishes team and individual performance objectives with a high level of accountability.
  • Must be able to understand data and formulate plans to achieve district and program results.
  • Regularly provides field insights and competitive intelligence to client and field teams for their district.
  • Must provide continuous contact, coaching, mentoring and support on an individual basis and in a group setting ensure business results are met and exceeded throughout district.
  • Proven ability to adapt to changing business environment while proactively ensuring field organization meets or exceeds client expectations - burning desire to be the best!
  • Develop strong rapport with store associates and store management through consistent and professional communication.
