Job Summary

Leads complex financial reporting and analysis activities that support business decision-making and operational performance. Manages a team responsible for financial planning, reporting, data management, and performance insights across multiple reporting platforms and systems. Supports the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring the timely delivery of financial reporting and the accurate consolidation and submission of Cable and Sky financial results into the Corporate OneStream platform. Oversees intra-day data processing and validation activities, providing stakeholders with near real-time visibility into financial results throughout the close cycle. Leads the development, enhancement, and governance of reporting solutions, driving standardization, automation, and process improvements across the reporting environment. Partners with Finance, Accounting, and Technology teams to strengthen data governance, improve reporting efficiency, and support business transformation initiatives.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Leading a team in the development and analysis of financial plans and reports
  • Driving strategic financial projects, providing insights that influence long-term planning and immediate business decisions
  • Simplifying and communicating complex financial data to ensure clarity and actionable insights for senior leadership
  • Conducting comprehensive economic evaluations to inform the organization's financial strategy and investment decisions
  • Identifying and analyzing emerging financial trends, integrating them into strategic planning and forecasting
  • Oversee end-to-end data integration from multiple source systems (e.g., SAP, Fusion), ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment across reporting outputs
  • Collaborating with internal finance teams and business leaders to consolidate financial results and enhance organizational effectiveness
  • Developing and refining financial models to support decision-making on strategic growth initiatives
  • Mentoring and developing team members, fostering a culture of excellence in financial management and analysis.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Financial Applications, FP&A, Accounting, and business teams to translate requirements into scalable, sustainable OneStream solutions
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Preferences:

  • Experience in financial reporting, FP&A, or finance systems
  • Strong accounting and financial reporting expertise, including month-end close, variance analysis, financial statement preparation, and management reporting.
  • Experience analyzing financial results and key business drivers, identifying trends, explaining variances to budget and prior year.
  • Proven experience leading teams and managing complex, high-volume reporting processes in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to translate complex financial data into clear executive-level commentary, providing meaningful insights to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including modeling, data analysis, and automation
  • Experience supporting enterprise close and consolidation processes, including corporate reporting environments
  • Familiarity with enterprise financial systems such as SAP, Oracle Fusion, OneStream, or Essbase
  • Experience with Incorta or similar platforms supporting large-scale data processing and reporting
  • Demonstrated track record of driving process improvements, leading reporting and system transformations, and delivering cross-functional initiatives
