SUMMARY OF POSITION

We are seeking a Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting to join a collaborative corporate accounting team supporting a dynamic public company reporting environment. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to high-visibility SEC reporting, internal management reporting, audit support and process improvement initiatives while building strong technical accounting and financial reporting expertise. The ideal candidate is curious, adaptable and solutions-oriented, with the ability to take ownership of assigned responsibilities and the confidence to collaborate across functions. This position is well suited for a forward-thinking accounting professional who wants meaningful exposure to senior finance leaders, values continuous improvement and is interested in growing into broader leadership opportunities over time.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in the quarterly and annual financial reporting process, including preparation of financial statements (10-Q, 10-K and partnership statements).
  • Prepare, review and analyze reporting schedules and supporting documentation for SEC filings, debt and equity transactions and compliance-related deliverables.
  • Prepare and analyze quarterly internal and external cash flow and EBITDA statements with a focus on accuracy, consistency, communication of meaningful insights and clear support for management review.
  • Serve as a trusted point of contact for external auditors by preparing audit-ready support, responding to requests and helping resolve reporting and documentation matters efficiently.
  • Collaborate with various departments and audit partners to support reporting timelines, deliverables and materials for senior leadership, the Board and the Audit Committee.
  • Help modernize financial reporting processes by identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, improve documentation and leverage technology more effectively.
  • Participate in special projects and cross-functional initiatives that broaden exposure to technical accounting, business transactions and senior finance leadership.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • BS/BA in Accounting or related field required.
  • CPA or active CPA candidate.
  • At least four years of relevant accounting, financial reporting or audit experience; public accounting and/or SEC reporting experience strongly preferred.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and strong proficiency with Microsoft Word.
  • Experience with automated accounting and reporting systems; Workday, Workiva, SharePoint and DocuSign experience a plus.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to connect detailed financial data to broader reporting, business and control implications.
  • Clear, professional communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, take ownership of deadlines and maintain confidentiality in a fast-paced public-company reporting environment.
  • Flexible, proactive and solutions-oriented approach, with enthusiasm for continuous improvement, technology-enabled reporting and professional development.
