Job description

The Patient Services Program Manager PSPM within Eisai Market Access will oversee day-to-day program operations of Eisai patient support programs to assure quality and business rules compliance. This role will work to identify continuous improvement opportunities and escalate as appropriate. The PSPM will be responsible for building internal processes and documentation to assure successful program oversight. The PSPM will conduct routine call monitoring and review of external vendors. The PSPM will build budget requirements/proposals and track program operational costs and FTEs. The PSPM will partner with the field-based access and reimbursement team to resolve patient/provider issues. This role will be a part of the strategy/program development process by sharing feedback and ideas.
This position will work cross-functionally with applicable Eisai stakeholders to include other Market Access teams, Compliance, Legal, Training and Internal Audit.
Responsibilities:
  • Support definition of access & reimbursement strategy for assigned marketed product in Neurology.
  • Assist in monitoring of assigned program operations including compliance, and quality auditing.
  • Support implementation of training initiatives and other learning opportunities targeted to each product's current reimbursement environment and patient assistance needs.
  • Support maintenance of comprehensive dashboard reports and business reviews as directed.
  • Maintain and share accurate and compliant information (e.g., Coverage, Coding, and Payment across Medicare, Medicare Part D, Commercial Payors) to cross-functional stakeholders, as directed.
  • Oversee delivery by external vendors supporting patient services programs.
  • Engage with external partners (e.g., reimbursement support vendors, PAP distribution vendors, Medicare/Medicaid policy development stakeholders, reimbursement and PAP experts, healthcare professionals, payers) to track external landscape impacting patient services strategy, as directed.
  • Support and facilitate CRC submission of new materials and on-going review and re-submission of expiring materials.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in related field (Master's preferred) with 5+ years of relevant experience in pharma/biotech industry.
  • Experience in pharma reimbursement including US reimbursement system in any of the major payer segments (Medicare, Medicaid, Federal, Managed Care); related or additional experience in pharmaceutical sales and/or marketing is preferred.
  • Experience supporting key compliance areas related to the provision of reimbursement support services.
  • Experience managing vendors/providers.
  • Experience with end-to-end technology sourcing to pay process.
  • Proven performance in earlier role.
  • The ability to travel approximately 10-12% to meetings, vendors, training, etc.

Eisai Salary Transparency Language:
The annual base salary range for the Patient Services Program Manager is from :$91,500-$120,100
Under current guidelines, this position is eligible to participate in : Eisai Inc. Annual Incentive Plan.
Final pay determinations will depend on various factors including but not limited to experience level, education, knowledge, and skills.
