Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth assessments and psychotherapeutic evaluations, crafting tailored treatment plans that address each client's unique mental health challenges.
• Facilitate engaging individual therapy sessions, applying evidence-based techniques designed to foster personal growth, resilience, and well-being.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams during staff meetings and group supervision sessions to share insights and enhance clinical practices.
• Establish detailed therapeutic goals in partnership with clients, regularly evaluating their progress and adapting treatment modalities as needed.
• Offer teletherapy solutions for clients who may face challenges accessing traditional forms of therapy, ensuring they receive the support they need.
• Maintain accurate and ethical documentation of client information and treatment plans, adhering to professional standards and regulations.
• Engage in ongoing professional development activities to enhance your clinical skills and remain informed about emerging trends in mental health care.

Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required.
• A valid and current LMFT license issued by the state of Virginia.
• A minimum of two years of full-time experience in a counseling or therapeutic role, demonstrating sound clinical judgment and effectiveness in various treatment settings.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with diverse populations, including couples, families, and adolescents facing a wide range of mental health challenges.
• Familiarity with culturally responsive therapeutic practices tailored to the specific needs of clients of color and the LGBTQIA community.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this role ranges from $70,000 to $100,000 annually based on experience, supplemented by a sign-on bonus.
