Job SummaryBASIC FUNCTION
This position is responsible for managing a team of financial analysts supporting the budget, forecasting, and financial metric analysis and processes across the business areas and corporate level. The position will need to be an excellent team player with an aptitude for understanding both financial and operational concepts/procedures for the areas supported. Continual development and practicing of sound relationship management with internal and external customers will be critical. Activities will include those cost containment/reduction, budget and resource planning, development of financial strategy, monitoring/analysis of financial metrics, reporting, and forecasting. Areas of responsibility may also include managing financial initiatives and strategies; managing accounting and invoicing systems/processes, capital planning/management for IT equipment/software, Enterprise Portfolio Management to include financial reporting, analysis, forecasting, and estimation, as well as managing financial goals and objectives.
NOTE: this role is HYBRID/FLEX and requires in-office visibility three days per week, working from home the other two days. Relocation will NOT be provided; sponsorship is NOT available either now or in the future.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, Economics or Finance with 6 years' experience in a corporate accounting and/or financial area OR 9 years' direct experience in a corporate accounting and/or financial area.
  • Minimum 4 years demonstrated experience in leading/supervising and developing teams.
  • Strategically oriented with conflict resolution skills, effective interpersonal, clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge with investment valuation techniques including ROI, TCO, NPV, EVA, RBC.
  • Excellent financial and business acumen skills and knowledge of financial and/or resource modeling as well as with financial management of IT equipment/software.
  • Demonstrated ability to present to large groups and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • 2 years of planning and budgeting experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, Teams) as well as Oracle Financial Suite.

PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • MBA, CPA or Advanced Finance/Accounting Certifications
  • IT Finance/Technology Certifications (i.e. TBMA, ETBMA, CTBME)
  • Knowledge of Apptio and other Enterprise IT Management Platforms
  • Advanced Financial and Statistical Modeling
  • Supplier Governance and Sourcing Negotiations
  • Experience with Alteryx, SQL, data analysis and reporting
  • Understanding of Access DB, Teradata, Tableau, Excel formulas or other BI/Analytics tools
