Job description

Dev10 is seeking a Data Engineer for a full-time, direct hire opportunity. This role requires the willingness to relocate anywhere in the United States following a paid training program.

This is an opportunity to launch or advance your career in technology by upskilling in Data Engineering. This role features an immersive, paid training program designed for individuals with a foundational technical background who are eager to grow, followed by a two-year consulting engagement with one of our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in an immersive, paid training program to build the skills needed to be a successful Data Engineer
  • Train in high-demand technologies including Relational and Non-Relational Databases, APIs, Python, Pandas, Kafka, Airflow, Apache Spark, and Machine Learning
  • Engage with Senior Engineer mentors in a hands-on, collaborative learning environment
  • After training, work for up to two years as a Data Engineering consultant on various client engagements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Authorization to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship
  • Willingness to relocate anywhere in the continental United States
  • Minimum 6 months of programming experience from academic coursework, hands-on projects, or professional work in one or more of the following languages: Java, Python, C, C#, C++, JavaScript, R, SQL, MATLAB, Mathematica, TypeScript, Shell scripting, Go, or Kotlin
  • A recent STEM degree (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline) OR 12+ months of professional work experience in finance, healthcare, banking, insurance, hospitality, or aviation
