Join the Purchase Growth Management (PGM) engineering track and support the global rollout and further evolution of an already developed solution across 20 countries over the next two years. As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will focus primarily on backend development, application support, and ensuring the scalability and reliability of the platform in multiple markets. You will work with Python-based backend services, cloud technologies, Kubernetes deployments, and data integrations while collaborating with teams responsible for successful product adoption worldwide.

Responsibilities
  • Support the rollout of the PGM solution across 20 countries over the next two years.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve backend services usingPython and FastAPI.
  • Ensure application stability, scalability, and reliability in production environments.
  • Deploy and support applications running on Kubernetes-based platforms.
  • Work with AWS services and support cloud-based application operations.
  • Contribute to data-related integrations and workflows using AWS Glue and connected data sources.
  • Collaborate with frontend engineers working with React and TypeScript.
  • Support ongoing product improvements and technical enhancements.
  • Work with international teams to ensure successful adoption and operation across different markets.
Qualifications
  • Extensive experience as a Backend Engineer with strong focus on Python-based backend development.
  • Strong proficiency inPython andFastAPI.
  • Experience designing, developing, and maintaining backend applications in production environments.
  • Experience working withKubernetes and deploying applications on Kubernetes-based platforms.
  • Experience with cloud technologies, especiallyAWS.
  • Understanding of AWS services and cloud-native application architectures.
  • Experience with data-related integrations, includingAWS Glue and working with external data platforms (e.g. pulling data from Data Sphere).
  • Experience with frontend technologies such asReact andTypeScript to support full stack collaboration.
