The Principal Product Manager will lead the strategy, development, and management of major products through the entire lifecycle. This role involves driving product vision, market analysis, and cross functional collaboration to deliver innovative solutions that exceed customer needs and align with business goals.

The Principal Product Manager will be responsible for overseeing the product lifecycle from ideation through to launch and beyond, ensuring the product’s success in the market. Product function participates in the development of document specifications that outline revisions or additional features of existing products, and the conception of new products. Completes market research to identify trends and/or needs of targeted clients/customers. Analyzes and compares competitor's product lines in relation to the organization's current offerings. Develops strategies for competitive positioning to increase sales and promotions. Serves as a liaison between other departments to gather client/customer feedback and disseminate information about the status of product development

Key Responsibilities:
  • Be a subject matter expert on D&B products and how they can be leveraged to fulfill a specific solution. 
  • Drive the strategy and product roadmap that aligns with business goals and customer needs.
  • Manage risks & issues and execute on product build.
  • Oversee the product throughout its lifecycle, from ideation to retirement. 
  • Prioritize product features and enhancements based on strategic goals.
  • Spearhead continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams including GTM, Technology, Sales, Customer Experience, Solution Architecture, Pricing and Finance to define product requirements and ensure successful development and delivery. 
  • Act as the voice of the customer within the organization, ensuring that products meet quality standards, user needs, and expectations.
  • Keep abreast of latest market trends, perform research to inform strategy and understand customer’s needs, industry trends, and competition landscape. 
  • Lead the product development process, collaborating with engineering, design, and other teams to deliver high-quality products on time. 
  • Gather feedback from customers and sellers to inform strategy, validate product/feature hypothesis, and drive business case creation as part of strategic planning process.
  • Create detailed product requirements, user stories, and specifications. 
  • Define and track key product metrics to measure product performance, trends, and risks to inform data driven decisions about areas for improvement. 
  • Identify new opportunities in the market and develop business cases for product initiatives to validate market readiness. 
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior product managers and team members.
Skills and/or Certifications Needed:
  • Bachelor’s Degree with major in Business Administration, Technology or related disciplines.
  • At least 12 years’ experience of pre-sales / solutions consulting/ product management/ project management.
  • Strong understanding of market research, competitive analysis, and customer needs assessment.
  • Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle.
  • Analytical capabilities, results oriented, with proven ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skill, with experience in dealing with senior management and all levels including across matrix teams.
  • Independent, detailed oriented, and a good team player.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales and analytics teams
  • Ability to translate business goals into product requirements.
