Job description

·       Mechanical Engineer must have a minimum of 10 years of experience related to the design of new construction and / or retrofit of power generation facilities or heavy industrial facilities..
·       Successful candidates shall have a BS in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited university.
·       Job duties include lead or support activities in preparation of mechanical design scope documents, schedules, budgets, P&IDs, piping isometrics, general arrangement drawings, and equipment or commodity specifications
·       This position shall provide design oversight to ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards, technical direction of other engineers, designers, and drafters, and effective communication with other disciplines, project and plant personnel to ensure project success.
·       Candidates must be physically capable of going to plants and assessing current field conditions and gathering necessary information to support design activities.
·       Candidates shall be self-motivated and capable of working within a team, have good organizational skills, and be able to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
