Overview

Responsible for developing, acquiring, executing, and growing a profitable market position for an assigned T.D. Williamson (TDW) product line within defined territory.

Key Responsibilities

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop and execute sales and customer engagement action plans in assigned territories for TDW products and services which achieve annual sales and booking targets.
  • Identify business opportunities; develop, negotiate, and close commercial opportunities with new and existing customers.
  • Establish and maintain credible knowledge and data of the oil and gas pipeline market and competitor product and service offerings, pricing, delivery, technology, and actions; ensure competitive information is communicated throughout the organization and recommend changes to maintain competitive position.
  • Maintain an accurate report of all sales activities and opportunities by updating the customer relationship management (CRM) system on a daily/weekly basis and as required and participate in weekly/bi-weekly sales meeting updates.
  • Prepare all necessary reports and forecasts as requested in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Collaborate with customer and TDW commercial, engineering, manufacturing, operations, and legal teams.
  • Work requires traveling up to 50.0% of the time, including overnight stays.
  • Work requires a valid driver's license and/or passport.

Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, civil engineering, chemical engineering, business, marketing, or other related field, and three (3) to five (5) years of sales experience or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
  • Sales leadership experience preferred.
  • Energy industry experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Knowledge of CRM software.
  • Excellent presentation skills including the ability to communicate commercial, marketing, and technical information to others.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to relate well to others.
  • Ability to speak English required.
