Honovi Consulting currently has an opening for a Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Aberdeen, MD. This position will support the build, test, and integration of hardware and software. The individual will work within a team environment consisting not only of senior mechanical engineering oversight, but also other functional disciplines such as electrical engineering, software engineering, systems engineering, and manufacturing.
Qualifications
The Mechanical Engineer will work closely with finance, production, and quality to develop and sustain system designs that meet all company, customer, and safety standards. The individual will develop and manage Engineering Change Proposals from inception to closeout. The Mechanical Engineer should have the ability to resolve design challenges such as obsolete parts or assemblies within complex systems. This individual should also be able to maintain documentation about product specifications and drawings, develop Bills of Materials costs for new products, prepare engineering drawings, and maintain 3-D CAD models.
