Summary
 
The Senior IT Infrastructure Project Manager is responsible for planning, overseeing, and leading the delivery of IT and OT infrastructure projects in a global and highly regulated environment. The role manages projects ranging from local site initiatives to regional and global deployments, ensuring successful execution of infrastructure, cybersecurity, and operational technology projects while maintaining compliance with company standards and industry regulations.The Project Manager will support critical initiatives including IT/OT separation, network segmentation, security enhancements, implementation of cybersecurity tools, OT firewall migrations, authentication and authorization improvements, and modernization of legacy infrastructure.
 
Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage IT/OT infrastructure projects throughout the entire project lifecycle.
  • Deliver projects in compliance with established IT Project Management methodologies, security standards, and quality requirements.
  • Plan and execute initiatives supporting IT/OT separation and network segmentation strategies.
  • Coordinate implementation of cybersecurity solutions including Claroty and Trellix platforms.
  • Manage migration of gateways to OT firewalls through validated and controlled deployment schedules.
  • Drive improvements in authentication and authorization controls across OT environments.
  • Support infrastructure modernization initiatives by reducing dependencies on legacy and end-of-life systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful infrastructure deployment and integration.
  • Partner with departments including Quality Control, Engineering, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Operations throughout project execution.
  • Manage project scope, budgets, timelines, milestones, resources, deliverables, and stakeholder communications.
  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project impact.
  • Resolve project issues, manage schedule changes, and align stakeholder expectations.
  • Facilitate communication between business stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and senior leadership.
  • Lead project governance activities, including steering committee meetings and status reporting.
  • Maintain project documentation, project plans, risk logs, and project management records.
  • Prepare and deliver project status reports, metrics, and executive-level updates.

Required Skills
  • Minimum 10 years of experience managing IT Infrastructure projects.

  • Experience within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences, or other validated manufacturing industries required.
  • Strong understanding of GxP, FDA, and regulated industry compliance requirements.

  • Hands-on knowledge of IT and OT infrastructure architecture and operational environments.
  • Experience supporting IT/OT separation and network segmentation initiatives.

  • Strong understanding of servers, networking, LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, switching, firewalls, and enterprise infrastructure technologies.
