Summary

A well-established general contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead ground-up multifamily projects including wood-frame, podium, and mixed-use developments.

This role is responsible for managing projects from preconstruction through closeout while overseeing schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and client relationships. The ideal candidate has strong multifamily experience and can run projects independently in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multifamily projects from preconstruction through closeout
  • Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and cost forecasts
  • Lead OAC meetings and coordinate with owners, architects, and subcontractors
  • Oversee subcontractor buyout, contracts, and change orders
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, pay apps, and documentation in Procore
  • Work closely with Superintendents to ensure field execution and quality
  • Track job costs, identify variances, and adjust as needed
  • Maintain strong relationships with owners, developers, and consultants
  • Oversee project closeout including punch lists, warranties, and final documentation
  • Support and mentor APMs and Project Engineers

Requirements
  • 5–10 years of experience as a Project Manager with a general contractor
  • Ground-up multifamily experience required
  • Experience with wood-frame, podium, or mid-rise projects
  • Strong understanding of scheduling, contracts, and cost management
  • Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, and Excel
  • Ability to read and interpret full construction drawings (arch, structural, MEP)
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
  • OSHA 30 preferred
