Our client is a Regional Leader and an employee‑owned General Contractor recognized for delivering high-quality institutional, commercial, industrial, and multi‑unit residential projects. In this role, you will report to the Operations Director and receive strong support from multidisciplinary project and operations colleagues. You will be handed over a $15 million hospital renovation as your first project.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead projects through the full lifecycle, from pre-construction to close-out
  • Manage budgets, schedules, cash flow, and cost controls to ensure successful delivery
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and stakeholders
  • Oversee contract administration, change management, and procurement processes
  • Prepare and present project status reports, cost reports, and progress billings
  • Lead project meetings, site reviews, and ensure clear communication across all teams
  • Mentor and support project team members, fostering a high-performance environment
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements
  • Identify risks, manage delays, and implement mitigation strategies
  • Support business development efforts including proposals and project pursuits


What We’re Looking For:

  • 10+ years of experience in ICI construction within a General Contractor environment
  • Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Strong expertise in budgeting, scheduling, cost control, and contract administration
  • Proven leadership experience managing project teams and multiple stakeholders
  • In-depth knowledge of construction methods, industry practices, and safety standards
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools (MS Project, Procore preferred)
  • Experience with scheduling software such as Primavera or Suretrak is an asset
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Familiarity with LEED, Net Zero, WELL, or Passive House standards is considered an asset
