Job description

Work Flexibility: Onsite

We are looking for a seasoned Program Manager in our Peripheral Vascular Division who thrives as an individual contributor while operating confidently in highly crossfunctional, regulated environments. You will lead projects from early concept through commercialization, ensuring delivery of high-quality, innovative medical products on time and within budget.

You will need to live within commuting distance to Stryker's Waltham, MAoffice and be on-site 5 days per week.
What you will do:

  • Collaborate with PMO and site leadership to define, manage and own project scope for arterial portfolio of projects.
  • Develop and manage the detailed project Gantt charts. Own the schedule. Monitor and track the status. Evaluate tradeoffs within projects.
  • Analyze critical path, major workstreams, and intersecting milestones.
  • Create project budgets with cross-functional managers and directors. Optimize, monitor, and maintain costs within budget.
  • Develop a risk management plan for the projects. Identify, analyze, and understand project risks, develop and monitor a risk response plan.
  • Develop a Stakeholder engagement plan for projects, based on the identification, analysis and understanding of Stakeholder expectations and requirements.
  • Estimate, acquire and assign cross functional project resources. Define the role, responsibility, and deliverables for each team member. Coach and mentor team members.
  • Develop and Execute communications management plan for project team, key stakeholders, and business leaders.
  • Ensure projects adhere to divisional NPD governance processes, driving compliance to established frameworks to support consistent execution.
  • Lead change management efforts across cross-functional teams to ensure smooth adoption of new processes, technologies, and strategies.
  • Support maturation of the PMO organization by helping to implement new tools, templates, and technologies. Educate cross-functional resources on PMO initiatives and ensure consistent adherence to established processes and standards.


What You Will Need

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 8 years of work experience leading engineering or product development programs in a regulated industry
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project with experience creating and regularly maintaining project timelines.


Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP Certification
  • Experience with hardware, software and/or capital equipment projects
  • Experience influencing cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority

$141,600 - $236,000 USD Annual
