What can you expect in this role? You will serve as the single point of accountability for projects from initial contract review through final delivery. These projects are complex and handson, requiring steady coordination and attention to detail. You'll work on projects across many of Mott's business units, including Aerospace & Defense and Semiconductor, with A&D expected to represent a significant portion of the portfolio. You'll also work closely with engineering, operations, quality, supply chain, and commercial teams while taking ownership of broader program execution, proactively managing risks, keeping internal and external stakeholders informed, and driving non-engineering project tasks with consistency and excellence.

Day to day, you'll be the central organizer of all project activities: building and maintaining project schedules, placing and tracking Purchase Orders, managing vendor relationships to keep materials and services on track, scheduling and leading customer reviews, and overseeing project finances with clear cost tracking and reporting. This role offers a meaningful opportunity to guide important projects from start to finish while working alongside a strong technical team and making a visible impact on customer success.

Responsibilities:

Project execution, owning cost, schedule, scope, and delivery from contract review through shipment.

Translate customer requirements into clear plans and deliverables, coordinating closely with engineering to ensure technical outputs meet contract expectations.

Run project meetings and communication, maintaining action logs, providing timely stakeholder updates, and leading customer reviews.

Manage project risks and finances, tracking costs, identifying issues early, and driving mitigation plans to protect delivery commitments.

Manage multiple tasks and priorities in fast-paced environment

Manage third party vendors and engineering firms to meet schedule commitments

Organize priorities and handoffs between internal Mott Development group, Operations, and other internal departments

Expected Performance Outcomes:

Meet contract ship date for complex filtration projects

Manage project costs to within 5% of definitive "as-sold" cost estimate for standard projects

Manage projects costs to within 10% of definitive "as-sold" cost estimated for first of a kind projects

Experience Required:

BS Degree in Engineering

Project Management experience

Experience with budgeting, EAC/ETC forecasting, variance analysis

Driving recovery plans to protect margins

PMP preferred

A&D experience preferred

Experience running customer reviews (CDR/TRR) preferred

Technical Understanding of Engineered Systems

The compensation range for this position is $99,800.00 - $149,600.00, depending on experience. This position may be eligible for performance based bonus plan.
