Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation and review of federal and state income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations
  • Oversee tax planning and compliance strategies to optimize client outcomes and minimize risk
  • Manage client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact
  • Review work prepared by staff and provide guidance, mentorship, and technical training
  • Conduct complex tax research and apply findings to client-specific situations
  • Stay current on changes in tax laws and regulations and communicate impacts to clients and team members
  • Collaborate with firm leadership on client strategy, workflow management, and office growth initiatives
  • Assist in developing and improving internal processes to enhance efficiency and quality of deliverables
  • Support business development efforts, including identifying opportunities to expand client services
  • Ensure deadlines are met while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and professionalism
  • Participate in strategic planning and contribute to the overall success of the Harrison office

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required
  • CPA license required
  • 5–10+ years of public accounting tax experience
  • Proven leadership experience, including reviewing work and mentoring junior staff
