Position Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of assigned Equipment Only (EO) and Engineered Equipment Package (EEP) projects. This role leads cross-functional teams to deliver project scope safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with contractual, quality, and Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) requirements.
The Project Manager has overall accountability for planning, execution, monitoring, customer coordination, risk management, and project handover. The role works closely with commercial, engineering, sourcing, manufacturing, logistics, quality, finance, legal, service, customers, partners, and subcontractors, as applicable.
Key Objectives
  • Deliver projects in line with scope, schedule, budget, quality, and EHS targets
  • Lead cross-functional teams and drive accountability across stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain the project execution strategy from handover to closeout
  • Manage risks, opportunities, claims, and changes throughout the project lifecycle
  • Maintain strong customer relationships and resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Ensure compliance with internal governance, contractual obligations, and local regulations
  • Complete effective project handover to service or operational teams

Scope of Responsibilities
1) Commercial / ITO Support
When assigned during the Inquiry to Order (ITO) phase, the Project Manager will:
  • Support development of the project execution strategy with the ITO team and Regional Projects Leader
  • Participate in risk reviews and validate execution assumptions related to schedule, sourcing, logistics, and resourcing
  • Provide execution input to proposals, including cost, schedule, contract, and delivery risks
  • Ensure adherence to applicable stage-gate processes

2) Project Start-Up / Handover
  • Lead or support handover from ITO to OTR in accordance with established procedures
  • Review contract scope, milestones, technical requirements, commercial terms, assumptions, and obligations
  • Establish the project plan, governance, team structure, reporting cadence, and escalation paths
  • Confirm project readiness, including resources, schedule, controls, and key supplier/subcontractor interfaces

3) Project Execution
  • Lead assigned projects to achieve contractual and business objectives
  • Manage schedule, cost, quality, cash flow, margin, and EHS performance
  • Coordinate activities across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, site support, quality, and service
  • Monitor progress, resolve issues, implement corrective actions, and lead project reviews
  • Ensure timely completion of deliverables, documentation, approvals, inspections, and reporting
  • Continuous connection with customer, owners engineer, and construction company to ensure all activities are connected and coordinated

4) Project Controls / Risk / Change Management
  • Maintain the integrated project schedule and cost forecast
  • Track progress against plan and manage deviations proactively
  • Lead risk and opportunity management, including mitigation and contingency planning
  • Manage scope changes, claims, and contract-related issues with appropriate documentation and approvals
  • Provide regular status reporting, KPI updates, and forecast visibility to internal and external stakeholders

5) Customer and Stakeholder Management
  • Serve as the primary contact for project execution matters
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with customers, partners, and subcontractors
  • Lead progress reviews, support negotiations, and drive issue resolution
  • Align stakeholders on milestones, deliverables, acceptance criteria, and responsibilities
  • Obtain formal acceptance and sign-off as required

6) Leadership, Compliance, and Closeout
  • Lead a cross-functional team in a matrixed environment and drive performance accountability
  • Resolve conflicts, manage interfaces, and communicate clear priorities
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, code of conduct, quality standards, EHS requirements, and local regulations
  • Complete project handover, financial closeout, final documentation, and lessons learned
