Job description

Summary/Objective:

The Project Controls Analyst supports the successful delivery of GIS/Software implementation projects by maintaining accurate project data, supporting reporting processes, and assisting Project Managers with operational and financial project controls.

This role works closely with the PMO, Finance, and Resource Management teams to support project forecasting, scheduling, resource planning, invoicing readiness, and reporting accuracy. The analyst helps ensure project information within Suite Projects Pro and related systems is complete, consistent, and reliable.

This position is ideal for a detail-oriented analyst interested in project operations, reporting, data analysis, and professional services delivery.

Essential Functions:

  • Support Project Managers with project setup, maintenance, reporting, and operational tracking activities
  • Maintain accurate project data within NetSuite SuiteProjects Pro and related PMO systems
  • Review project data for completeness, consistency, and accuracy
  • Assist with project forecasting, planned hours, resource allocations, and financial tracking updates
  • Support reporting processes related to project performance, forecasting, revenue recognition, utilization, and invoicing
  • Identify data discrepancies and assist with research and resolution activities
  • Help maintain project schedules, task structures, milestones, and dependencies
  • Translate approved project plans from Microsoft Project into NetSuite SuiteProjects Pro
  • Produce recurring PMO dashboards, reports, and data summaries
  • Assist with PMO process documentation and data quality initiatives
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Finance, and Resource Management teams to support reporting accuracy and operational consistency
  • Support adoption of PMO tools, templates, and best practices
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts related to PMO reporting and operational processes
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

  • Use office equipment such as computer, mouse, keyboard, and related technology


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in business, Finance, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Project Management, or work experience in a related field
  • 1โ€“3 years of experience in project coordination, project analysis, operations, finance, reporting, or related analytical roles
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills required
  • Experience with PSA, ERP, or project management tools preferred
  • Experience supporting professional services or IT implementation projects preferred but not required
  • Internship or co-op experience in project operations, finance, analytics, or PMO environments is a plus
