Job Title: Project Accounting Specialist

We are seeking a Project Accounting Specialist who is eager to grow within a collaborative, relationship-driven construction environment. In this role, you will support the financial success of our projects by managing customer billings, reviewing project costs, and ensuring accurate financial documentation across multiple active projects. You'll partner closely with project managers and operations teams, playing a key role in keeping projects financially on track while gaining exposure to large-scale industrial work.
This position offers the opportunity to build a strong foundation in construction project accounting while working with experienced professionals who are invested in your development. If you enjoy working in a team-oriented environment, have strong attention to detail, and are comfortable following up to keep processes moving, you will thrive in this role.
The anticipated hourly range for this position is $25.00 - $31.00 per hour. This information reflects the anticipated base salary for this position based on current market data. What You Bring
  • Associate's degree in accounting, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 1-3 years of experience in accounting, finance, or related field
  • Exposure to accounts payable, accounts receivable, or customer billing processes
  • Basic knowledge of construction project accounting principles is preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to review and validate financial data
  • Proven ability to collaborate across teams and follow up to ensure timely completion of tasks

Nice to Have
  • Experience with construction project accounting or job cost accounting
