Raytheon - Advanced Products & Solutions (APS) is seeking a Senior Manager, Program Management (PM) to oversee a program area within the Radio Frequency Solutions (RFS) Sub-Strategic Business Unit (SSBU). The successful candidate will lead transition to production and capital efforts for Advanced Systems, a high-profile portfolio, within the Electronic Warfare Systems (EWS) organization. You will be responsible for cost, schedule, and technical performance of these efforts. 

This role is onsite located in El Segundo, CA.

What You Will Do

  • Lead all aspects of program cost, schedule, and technical execution to ensure predictable performance
  • Accountability for profit and loss, EAC inputs, and program execution including risk and opportunities, cost, quality, and schedule performance
  • Provide leadership and direction to cross functional teams across multiple Raytheon sites
  • Implement and execute Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) to include meeting Estimate at Completions (EAC) requirements
  • Establish and execute baseline schedule, negotiating and executing change requirements
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with the customer counterparts
  • Travel domestically, as needed, to support business engagements

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience
  • Program Management, systems engineering, or business management experience
  • Experience managing cost, schedule, and/or performance for programs with use of program management tools
  • Active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain program access after start

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Program Management Level 6 Certification or ability to obtain within one year
  • Effective written, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Understanding of Electronic Warfare (EW) or Radio Frequency (RF) principles, systems development, and application of applicable technologies in operations
  • Demonstrated ability to advise and influence the cross-functional production team, functional leaders, domestic and global supply chain, and internal program leaders to secure the resources necessary execute a profitable production program

The salary range for this role is 145,600 USD - 276,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance. This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
