Role Overview and Responsibilities
This position may require access to information, technology, or materials subject to U.S. export control laws, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Any offer of employment will be contingent upon TT Electronics' review of the candidate's eligibility to access export-controlled information in accordance with applicable law.
Introduction
The Program Manager oversees the planning, implementation, and tracking of new product projects from concept through first shipment of production parts. They collaborate directly with customers and internal teams including NPI, Business Development, Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Finance to ensure program deliverables are met on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
  • Defines project scope and schedule in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Manages risk by identifying and assessing hazards and proactively implementing mitigation controls.
  • Creates and executes detailed project plans that identify dependencies, constraints, critical paths, and required resources.
  • Develops and executes schedules to achieve project milestones on time and within scope.
  • Establishes stakeholder communication plans and provides timely updates on project status.
  • Maintains documentation and forms required to track project activities and ensures information is recorded accurately.
  • Interfaces with clients professionally to clarify needs, resolve issues, and meet expectations.
  • Escalates issues and risks to appropriate leadership as needed.
  • Reviews project quality and ensures standards and requirements are met.
  • Evaluates outcomes against planned objectives and leads lessons-learned activities for future improvement.
  • Controls scope, cost, and schedule throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Uses standard program management tools to track overall performance.
  • Other duties as required and/or assigned.

Qualifications, Skills and Attributes
Core Requirements
  • Knowledge of project management is required; Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple, simultaneous projects and priorities.
  • Basic understanding of marketing principles and an interest in supporting business development initiatives.
  • Strong documentation skills and attention to detail. Ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical audiences.
  • Commitment to hands-on collaboration in a team environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
