Strategic Project/Program Manager – Manufacturing Scale-Up (Contract)

Location / Schedule: Del Rio, TX / Acuña, Mexico (Hybrid: 50% onsite / 50% remote)

Duration: 9–12 months

Travel: ~50%

Compensation: Open


Role Summary

The Strategic Project/Program Manager is accountable for leading the execution of a large-scale manufacturing expansion in Acuña to support 2027–2028 demand. This role drives cross-functional alignment across operations, supply chain, finance, and staffing to ensure capacity, cost, and delivery objectives are achieved.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end manufacturing scale-up initiatives across fabrication, paint, pack, and ship operations
  • Develop and manage the master project plan (milestones, dependencies, risks, ownership)
  • Align cross-functional teams (operations, procurement, suppliers, finance, HR) to execution goals
  • Manage program financials, including $20M+ CAPEX/OPEX budgets and staffing plans
  • Establish governance cadence and deliver clear updates on progress, risks, and decisions
  • Maintain risk register and drive mitigation across operational, financial, and supply chain risks
  • Ensure operational readiness and capacity to meet future demand


Qualifications

  • 10+ years of project/program management experience
  • Proven experience leading manufacturing scale-up or operational expansion initiatives
  • Experience managing complex programs (9–18 months, $20M+ budgets)
  • Strong financial acumen (budgeting, forecasting, cost control)
