The Collins Advanced Operations Engineering Program Management team is looking for a Sr. Program Manager to lead our Connected Factory Visual Factory programs. This leader will drive the implementation tiered accountability boards, MROLife solution, and enterprise escalation tools like Enterprise Andon, ensuring these capabilities are delivered consistently across large, cross-functional agile teams.
Connected Factory is a flexible, scalable environment of integrated tools that enables connected, efficient build processes across Operations and Aftermarket. The Sr. Program Manager will ensure strong coordination across teams, promote agile delivery, and champion continuous improvement throughout the ecosystem.
This individual can sit at any Collins large manufacturing location in the U.S.
What You Will Do:
  • Owns the coordination of the Connected Factory Visuals release train backlog and scope of deliverables within the scrum teams
  • Coordinates between the currently established scrum teams
  • Ensures adherence to agile process methods, facilitating agile ceremonies, artifacts, and enterprise visibility on spend to value
  • Communicate with end users on the use and application of MROLife and its functionality.
  • Communicate and manage project executions with project leadership team to ensure efficient planning and execution is occurring, breaking down barriers for scrum team
  • Lead project teams through proper Agile practices within the overall Collins agile transformation strategy.
  • Resolve conflicts, promote work sharing, and motivate teams toward common goals.
  • Enables the creation of the project backlog with input from the customers and architects
  • Facilitates PI Planning readiness by fostering a continuous exploration process which drives the vision, roadmap and backlogs through pre and post PI planning meetings
  • Operational responsibilities
  • Develop a concept of operations on how the product should function and define specific product features
  • Product backlog management: create Product definitions, features and capabilities based on customer requirements, define the product backlog and create actionable user stories for the development teams
  • Design products with a focus on cost-effectiveness and rapid time-to-market across different sectors
  • Product delivery: Participate in sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives and act as the voice of the customer within the development team
  • Develop product launch plans and marketing strategies
  • Monitor product adoption and usage metrics
  • Gather customer feedback and usage metrics and monitor product's performance KPI
  • Must be willing to travel up to 25% (domestic and international)

Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
  • 3+ years of prior experience in manufacturing Operations
  • 3+ years experience with manufacturing tools and data systems.
  • 3+ years of prior project management experience

Qualifications We Prefer:

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
