SOLVERE is seeking a Senior Program Management Specialist to oversee planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting for federal programs. The role ensures alignment with agency mission objectives, contract requirements, and regulatory frameworks such as FAR, DFARS, and agency-specific policies. This position serves as a senior advisor to leadership, manages cross-functional teams, and ensures high-quality deliverables across the program lifecycle.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead day-to-day management of federal programs, ensuring compliance with contract scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Serve as primary liaison with government CORs, COs, PMs, and internal leadership.
  • Identify, track, and mitigate program risks; maintain risk registers and corrective action plans.
  • Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual reports; track KPIs and contract deliverables.
  • Ensure adherence to FAR/DFARS, agency supplements, and contract clauses.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, burn-rate analysis, and cost control.
  • Implement best practices, standard operating procedures, and quality assurance measures.
  • Mentor junior staff, coordinate cross-functional teams, and support workforce development.
  • Lead program transitions, onboarding, and organizational change initiatives.
  • Support long-range planning, proposal development, and program growth strategies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 7-10+ years managing federal programs or large-scale government initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of FAR, DFARS, and agency-specific acquisition rules.
  • Demonstrated success managing complex, multi-year programs.
  • Ability to brief senior government officials and produce high-quality documentation.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, performance metrics, and decision-support tools.
  • Proficiency in use of Microsoft Project.
CERTIFICATIONS OR TRAINING PREFERRED:
  • PMP Certification (Project Management Professional).
  • DAU Training (e.g., ACQ 101, PMT courses).
EDUCATION:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
SECURITY CLEARANCE:
  • Ability to pass NACI Background Check.
PHYSICAL / TRAVEL, WORK REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ability to work in an office or hybrid environment.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods while using a computer.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs. (documents, laptops, equipment).
  • Ability to travel to government sites or contractor facilities as required.

The anticipated hiring range for this position is $80,000 to $90,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, internal equity, and geographic location.
