The Marketing Investment Performance and Optimization team manages the $1.6Bn US Consumer Marketing expense and contra revenue budget through a quarterly optimization process, monthly marketing expense forecasting process, and monthly Contra Revenue forecast.
the Invoice Governance and Invoice Processing Team is accountable for managing Invoice Processing and Invoice Governance related activities for USPB & Wealth.
Responsibilities:
  • Completing invoice processes, reengineering processes, providing user support and end to end management of invoice and accrual management activities.
  • Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Involved in short to medium-term planning of actions.
  • Manage the expansion of the Marketing Resource Management Platform and Invoice Governance and Invoice Processing Activities to additional organizations and functions
  • Manage accruals processes and ensure accruals are managed, monitored and closed in a timely and effective manner by working closely with cross functional teams to ensure invoices and forecasts are aligned and booked appropriately.
  • Resolve all invoice/forecast related user and vendor questions.
  • Identify and help resolve systems issues.
  • Provide training to users on invoice and accrual related processes.
  • Provide Marketing teams with invoice support to address inquiries around work orders and Purchase orders.
  • Develop consistent reporting to ensure transparency within the invoice lifecycle
  • Manage reporting processes related to budget and accruals management
  • Provide recommendations and help implement process and system enhancements related to Marketing Resource Management Platform and Budget and Accrual Related processes
  • Make decisions and recommendations based on analytics.
  • Identify and manage issues to resolution.
  • Assist with monthly budget reconciliation and marketing invoice processing to ensure proper vendor execution.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:
  • 6-10 years of experience in a Finance or Reengineering related position within a financial services company.
  • Requires attention to detail, advanced project management skills, good communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks/projects at once.
  • Creative problem solving and sense of ownership.
  • Solid communication, presentation and project management skills.
  • Ability to work well under tight deadlines in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
  • Accounting background

Education:
  • Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred
