Job description

Irvine based Plaintiff Personal Injury litigation law firm is seeking to hire a full-time Pre-litigation assistant/paralegal. Duties and skills required include:

  • Maintaining a pre-litigation case load of personal injury cases ranging from automobile collisions to wrongful death cases. 
  • Must have excellent knowledge in obtain medical records and billing.
  • Must have strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to prepare written correspondence on behalf of the attorneys including demand letters.
  • Must be able to multi-task, manage time sensitive documents and excellent organizational skills.
  • Must be able to function in a busy team environment.
  • Maintaining client database and client files.
  • Calculating and calendaring case related deadlines.
  • Resolution of property damage claims.
  • Resolution of medical payments for clients.
  • Communicating effectively with clients, opposing counsel, opposing party, and/or third parties.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office/Outlook. Knowledge of Trial works a plus
  • Litigation assistant skills including drafting Complaints, Discovery and various pleadings a plus.

·         Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred. 

·         Minimum 3 Years Plaintiff Personal Injury experience required.
