Position: Sr Manager, Operations - AMZ23426.7
Location: Waco, TX
Multiple Positions Available:
1. Drive creation of quality initiatives, process change initiatives
and other Lean initiatives to enable their functional area and
ultimately the FC to meet and exceed business plan.
2. Responsible for the overall safety, quality and performance and
customer experience of either Inbound or Outbound operations.
3. Set and clarify requirements and expectations for Operations
and Area Managers.
4. Measure performance, provides feedback, and holds Ops
Managers accountable for their performance and the
performance of their departments.
5. Leverage the Operations and Area Managers by sourcing and
nurturing ideas and rolling them into the creation of
improvement plans for the functional area.
6. Take proactive steps to ensure that best practices are shared
across all departments, shifts and among the network.
7. Work closely with support staff (HR, Finance, Facilities, Safety,
IT and other Sr. Operations Managers) to build and secure
support and resources for projects and initiatives in their area,
as well as providing needed support and resources for other
staff initiatives.
(40 hours / week, 8:00am-5:00pm, Salary Range $135000 - $182700)

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration or related field followed by approximately 7 year(s) of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
Must have 7 year(s) of experience in the following:
1. Direct management experience, including a salaried workforce, in a manufacturing, production or distribution environment.
2. Experience with performance metrics, process improvement and Lean techniques.
