Power Platform Developer
Location: Chandler, AZ or Charlotte, NC (Hybrid)
Employment Type: Contract
Role Overview
We are seeking a Power Platform Developer to design and build a business application using Microsoft Dataverse as the core data platform. This role will focus on automating workflows with Power Automate, building applications with Power Apps, and enabling reporting and insights using Power BI. The position requires a balance of technical development, governance adherence, and stakeholder collaboration to deliver scalable and compliant solutions.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design and build automated workflows using Power Automate.
  • Create and manage Dataverse tables, relationships, business rules, and security roles.
  • Build end-to-end solutions using Power Apps (model-driven and/or canvas apps).
  • Integrate Power Automate flows with Power Apps and Dataverse.
  • Develop Power BI reports and dashboards using Dataverse and other connected data sources.
  • Implement approval workflows, notifications, and data-driven processes.
  • Troubleshoot, optimize, and document Power Platform solutions.
  • Follow enterprise governance, security, and environment management practices.
  • Collaborate with business partners to translate requirements into working solutions.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of Information Security Analysis experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work or consulting experience, training, military experience, or education.
  • Hands-on experience with Power Automate, including workflow automation, triggers, actions, and flow design.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Dataverse, including tables, relationships, and security roles.
  • Experience building end-to-end applications using Power Apps (model-driven and/or canvas).
  • Experience developing Power BI reports and dashboards.
  • Ability to design and deliver production-ready, well-documented solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Power Platform Solutions and deployment across environments.
  • Familiarity with Dev/Test/Prod environment strategies.
  • Experience working in large, regulated enterprise environments.
  • Basic understanding of data modeling and reporting best practices.
Compensation & Benefits
The pay rate for this position is $69.00/hr - $74.00/hr. This position is for a contract with the potential for contract-to-hire.
