Job Description
This role supports Learning & Development initiatives across the organization by developing, maintaining, and improving training content that supports employee growth, workforce readiness, and organizational capability. You'll be responsible for creating engaging learning materials, instructional content, and training resources that directly impact employee development and business performance. Success in this role means delivering high-quality learning experiences that improve knowledge retention and support the continued expansion of training programs, all while upholding KE's commitment to Safety, People, Passion, and Performance. What You'll Do
You'll be part of a team that gets things done, works with purpose, and takes pride in the results. Your day-to-day responsibilities may include:
  • Develop training content using approved learning objectives, outlines, and L&D standards.
  • Create and maintain instructor-led training, virtual training, eLearning modules, videos, job aids, assessments, and reference materials.
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to gather, validate, and organize technical and operational knowledge.
  • Ensure all learning materials meet quality, branding, formatting, and instructional design standards.
  • Support multimedia content creation including graphics, videos, simulations, and interactive learning components.
  • Maintain content libraries, templates, documentation, and version control processes.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to learning content and training effectiveness.
  • Partner with operational leaders, Safety, HR, and other stakeholders to support strategic training initiatives.

Qualifications
What You Bring
You're someone who shows up ready to work hard, learn fast, and contribute to a team that takes pride in doing things right. Successful candidates typically bring:
  • 3+ years of experience developing training, instructional, educational, or business process documentation.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Training & Development, Education, Communications, Organizational Development, Technical Writing, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Strong ability to translate complex technical information into clear, engaging learning content.
  • Experience collaborating with Subject Matter Experts and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong written communication, editing, project organization, and time management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Word, Teams, SharePoint, and related collaboration tools.

Bonus Points For
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS), eLearning development, multimedia content creation, and adult learning principles.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Pay Range

Pay Range: $66,160.00 - $74,430.00 per year
