Job description

Pay: $65,000 - $85,000 annually

Location: Springfield, MO

The Role

CSI is looking for a qualified Sales Operations Specialist to join our team and serve as a critical support resource for the commercial organization. This position drives sales efficiency, CRM excellence, prospecting effectiveness, and data-driven decision-making while helping the sales team spend more time selling and less time on administrative activities.

The Sales Operations Specialist partners closely with sales leadership, business development representatives, customer service, and marketing to manage lead flow, improve prospecting efforts, support strategic initiatives, and enhance overall sales performance. This role combines technology, analytics, process management, and sales support, with responsibility for CRM and sales intelligence platforms, data integrity, reporting, and process execution.

    What You’ll Do

    • Serve as the primary subject matter expert for CSI’s CRM platform, maintaining data accuracy, integrity, governance, workflows, dashboards, reports, permissions, documentation, training, and user adoption.
    • Support ZoomInfo and other sales intelligence tools by building target account and prospect databases, using intent signals and contact intelligence, and developing prospecting lists aligned with strategic initiatives and target markets.
    • Administer inbound lead routing and assignment, monitor response and follow-up compliance, maintain lead scoring and qualification standards, and ensure accurate tracking of leads, opportunities, and account activity.
    • Develop and distribute sales dashboards and performance reports while monitoring pipeline growth, lead conversion, sales activity, forecast accuracy, and other key performance metrics.
    • Support sales representatives with system administration, prospecting resources, process guidance, onboarding, documentation, standard operating procedures, and special sales initiatives.
    • Facilitate communication and data sharing between Sales, Customer Service, Operations, and Marketing teams.
    • Identify opportunities to automate repetitive processes, improve efficiency, enhance CRM workflows and sales tools, and support implementation of new commercial technologies and processes.
    • Drive adoption of best practices for data quality, prospecting, pipeline management, and continuous improvement.

    Education & Training

    • High school diploma required; college credits desired; technical/mechanical emphasis. preferred.

    Experience

    • 2+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Business Development, CRM Administration, or Sales Support.
    • Experience with CRM systems required; Dynamics 365 preferred.
    • Strong organization and communication skills.
    • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
    • Experience with ZoomInfo or similar sales intelligence platforms.
    • Experience building dashboards and reports within Power BI.
    • Understanding of B2B sales processes and pipeline management.
    • CRM implementation or administration experience.
    • Experience supporting multiple sales representatives or commercial teams.

    Work Environment / Physical Requirements

    This position requires the ability to interact with employees verbally and in writing, remain in a stationary position for 80% of the workday, have close visual acuity, and constantly operate a computer and other office productivity equipment, with or without reasonable accommodation.     More than 40 hours per week may occasionally be required in order to achieve the productivity necessary for this position. Overnight travel, Saturday, Sunday, and holiday hours may occasionally be required but are not anticipated with this position.
