How You Will Make History Here...

As a Customer Sales Lead supporting Campbell's Snacks ADUSA Giant Company customers, you will drive profitable growth by developing and executing joint business plans that increase sales, volume, profit, and share across key accounts. You will serve as a strategic partner to customers and internal stakeholders, leveraging data, category expertise, digital commerce insights, and collaborative planning to grow the Campbell's Snacks portfolio and deliver Annual Operating Plan objectives.

The ideal candidate will be based within driving distance of The Giant Company HQ in Carlisle, PA.

What You Will Do...

  • Lead the joint business planning process and annual strategic planning activities with assigned customers.

  • Support the full Campbell's Snacks brand portfolio, including Snack Factory, bakery, etc.

  • Develop, monitor, and optimize customer business plans to achieve volume, profit, trade investment, and share objectives.

  • Manage supplier and customer relationships across assigned categories and accounts.

  • Utilize sales planning and customer investment systems to create effective customer growth plans.

  • Develop and implement customer-specific trade promotion strategies and tactical business plans.

  • Conduct post-event analyses to evaluate promotional effectiveness and identify future growth opportunities.

  • Monitor trade funding, deduction balances, post audits, and overall trade management performance.

  • Leverage digital shelf solutions to improve online availability, visibility, and product placement.

  • Conduct customer and category business reviews utilizing loyalty, syndicated, and market data.

  • Analyze consumer, shopper, and category trends to identify opportunities for incremental growth.

  • Partner with customers' key decision makers, including buyers, category managers, and merchandising leaders, to execute brand strategies.

  • Lead category assessments and influence customer decision making through category management best practices.

  • Develop accurate monthly forecasts and proactively identify risks related to shipments, inventory, and consumption trends.

  • Drive new item sell-in efforts and secure optimal product distribution.

  • Partner with Customer Marketing to develop and execute programs aligned with customer and brand priorities.

  • Identify profitable opportunities that drive incremental volume, revenue, and market share growth.

Who You Will Work With...

  • Key customer stakeholders including buyers, category managers, merchandising leaders, and supplier partners.

  • Internal teams across Category Management, Customer Marketing, Finance, Customer Business Management, Customer Service, and Supply Chain.

  • Cross-functional partners within Integrated Marketing, Brand Management, Customer Development, and Sales organizations.

  • External and internal stakeholders responsible for forecasting, trade management, and business planning.

What You Bring to the Table... (Must Have)

  • Bachelor's degree.

  • 6+ years of Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry experience.

  • Experience developing and executing customer business plans and growth strategies.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience utilizing syndicated data sources such as Circana (IRI), Nielsen, or 1010data to drive business decisions.

  • Strong forecasting, planning, and trade management capabilities.

  • Proven ability to influence and build relationships with customer decision makers.

  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to conduct business reviews and present insights to senior customer stakeholders.

  • Experience managing profit and loss (P&L) performance and understanding business financial drivers.

It Would Be Great if You Have... (Nice to Have)

  • Category management expertise and strong understanding of shopper behavior and digital commerce trends.

  • Supply chain knowledge and experience collaborating on inventory, forecasting, and fulfillment activities.

  • Experience with trade management systems and sales planning tools.

  • Knowledge of Campbell's brands and category landscape.

  • Experience leading growth initiatives across multiple product categories and customer portfolios.

  • Ability to leverage loyalty data and digital shelf analytics to drive business performance.

Compensation and Benefits:

The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between

$117,600-$161,700

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
