Job description

Ready to build what's next with one of the world's most iconic brands?
Why Join Subway?
At Subway, we are not standing still. We are building. This is a business focused on what matters most: growing franchisee profitability, strengthening our brand and creating long-term value. The people who thrive here are the ones who want to make a real impact. You will not just do the work.
You will shape it.
We move fast. We think like owners. We make decisions that matter. We hold ourselves to a high standard because what we do directly impacts thousands of franchisees around the world. If you bring energy, accountability and a bias for action, you will fit right in. We take the work seriously, but we also know the best results come from teams that support each other, celebrate wins and show up ready to build something better every day. This is your chance to be part of what's next.
About the Role:
The Manager, Partnerships supports the day-to-day management and activation of Subway's brand partnership and sponsorship portfolio across North America - helping translate partnership agreements into integrated marketing programs, product launches, and account operations that strengthen brand equity and drive consumer engagement. The portfolio spans multiple partnership categories, including cultural, sponsorship, and entertainment partnerships as well as food & beverage partnerships.
Reporting to the Director, Partnerships, the Manager will help execute Subway's partnership and sponsorship program - working closely with Creative, Media, Digital, Product Innovation, Supply Chain, Legal, Field Marketing, and other teams to ensure activations, product launches, and account deliverables are delivered on time, on budget, and in line with brand standards. The Manager will also support the identification and evaluation of new partnership opportunities, as well as forecasting, ordering, and contract compliance activities for existing partnerships.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Partnership Portfolio Support & Coordination
  • Support the Director, Partnerships in managing the day-to-day operations of Subway's brand, sponsorship, and food & beverage partnership portfolio, tracking deliverables, timelines, and contractual obligations across all active partnerships.
  • Assist in researching and evaluating prospective partnership opportunities, including competitive analysis and supporting materials for leadership review.
  • Help develop and maintain partnership evaluation frameworks, trackers, and governance tools that support consistent, disciplined portfolio management.
  • Maintain organized partnership files, contracts, and activation or launch records to support portfolio governance and audit readiness.

Activation & Product Launch Execution
  • Coordinate the execution of brand partnership activations and product or flavor launches, working with Creative, Media, Digital, Social, Product Innovation, and Supply Chain teams to bring partnership rights and new products to life across paid, owned, and earned channels and in-restaurant rollout.
  • Develop activation or launch briefs and supporting materials, helping ensure partnerships and products are integrated clearly into campaigns, menu updates, product launches, and brand moments on the marketing calendar.
  • Manage the day-to-day production and approval of partner-related marketing assets, ensuring brand standards and contractual requirements are met.
  • Track and compile partnership and launch performance data against agreed KPIs, preparing clear reporting and summaries for the Director and leadership review.

Partner, Agency & Vendor Relationship Support
  • Serve as the day-to-day point of contact and account manager for assigned brand, sponsorship, and food & beverage partners, agencies, and vendors, ensuring timely communication and delivery of assets, approvals, ordering, and forecasting as applicable.
  • Support contract administration, including tracking usage rights, pricing agreements, rebates, renewal timelines, and partner deliverables; flag issues or risks to the Director, Partnerships.
  • Help manage the pipeline of prospective partners and co-marketing partners by organizing research, outreach materials, and meeting logistics.
  • Coordinate scheduling, materials, and follow-up for partner meetings, calls, business reviews, and check-ins.

Cross-Functional Support
  • Partner with Creative, Media, Digital, Social, PR, Product Innovation, Supply Chain, and Field Marketing teams to ensure partnership and launch deliverables are integrated into broader marketing and operational plans with consistent messaging.
  • Coordinate with Operations and Field teams on restaurant-level partnership integration and product launch opportunities, including co-branded promotions, training, and market-specific activations.
  • Provide clear, regular updates to the Director, Partnerships and relevant stakeholders on activation status, launch timelines, account status, and open items.

Budget & Administrative Support
  • Support tracking of partnership and sponsorship budgets, including invoice processing, reconciliation, and expense coordination in partnership with Finance.
  • Assist in managing relationships with external agencies and vendors supporting partnership and activation execution, tracking scope, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Maintain accurate budget and spend records, surfacing variances or discrepancies to the Director, Partnerships.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Sports Management, Food & Beverage Management, Supply Chain, or related field required.
  • 5-7 years of experience in partnership marketing, sponsorship activation, food & beverage/CPG account management, brand marketing, or related field - ideally within QSR, retail, CPG, or consumer brands. Experience supporting the execution of brand partnerships, sponsorships, or product launches from planning through activation.
  • Partnership & Account Knowledge: Working knowledge of brand partnership, sponsorship, and/or food & beverage account management structures, activation and product launch planning, and marketing campaign execution within a multi-brand or multi-partner environment.
  • Project & Timeline Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple partner relationships, deliverables, product launches, and activation timelines simultaneously against tight deadlines.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Experience working with Creative, Media, Digital, Product Innovation, Supply Chain, Legal, and Finance teams to help deliver integrated partnership and product launch marketing programs.
  • Contract & Compliance Support: Comfortable supporting contract administration, tracking usage rights, pricing agreements, rebates, renewal timelines, and partner compliance requirements.
