About the Role
KanPak®, a Golden State Foods company, is a global leader in the development and manufacturing of high-quality beverage, yogurt, and dessert solutions. Our aseptic technology allows products to be safely stored and shipped without refrigeration for up to 12 months, supporting efficiency and sustainability.
We are seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to join our team in Arkansas City, KS. This role serves as a key point of contact for employee inquiries and provides administrative and operational HR support while ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
What You'll Do
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employee HR-related questions
  • Support weekly payroll processes, including data entry and updates
  • Coordinate and lead onboarding activities, including new hire paperwork, I-9 and E-Verify compliance, and orientation
  • Maintain accurate and compliant personnel, benefits, and medical records
  • Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive employee information
  • Support HR projects, meetings, and communications
  • Coordinate employee engagement activities and company-sponsored events
  • Assist with employee relations matters, including coaching and counseling support for associates or supervision
  • Manage facility access and related administrative processes
  • Process employee separations and maintain related records
  • Perform general administrative duties and maintain HR documentation
    Associate engagement activity planning and execution

What You'll Need
  • Associate degree or equivalent experience required; Bachelor's degree or higher preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Human Resources role.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadline s

Preferred:
  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification
  • HRIS experience (UKG or similar systems)
