Job Title: People Operations Partner
Department: People Operations
Location: Moses Lake, WA
Reports To: Manager of People Operations PNW
Job Type: Full-Time, Onsite
Travel:10% - 15%
Compensation: $85k Yearly Salary
Job Summary
The People Operations Partner provides farm leadership with strategic People Operations partnership, acting as a trusted advisor on people-related matters. This role focuses on workforce planning, employee engagement, compliance strategy, and leadership coaching.
Essential Job Functions
• Partner with farm managers and supervisors to align people practices with operational goals.
• Lead farm-level People Ops program implementation (performance management, engagement surveys, training).
• Advise leadership on complex employee relations issues.
• Analyze HR metrics (turnover, absenteeism, overtime, eNPS) and develop action plans.
• Coach supervisors on conflict resolution and supervisory capability.
• Ensure compliance with labor regulations, agricultural standards, and documentation.
• Act as a subject matter expert in People Ops (talent management, leaves, benefits, pay practices).
• Recommend and implement People Ops process improvements.
• Champion Versova's culture and guiding principles.
• Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field of study (or equivalent experience)
• 2+ years of HR experience
• Strong employee relations and workforce planning background.
• Demonstrated ability to partner with leadership.
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with agricultural labor laws and OSHA.
• Ability to travel to farm sites within the region
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in HR Business Partner or consulting roles
Work Environment
This position is primarily office-based in a climate-controlled environment, requiring the ability to sit for extended periods. Occasional visits to various company operations may be required, exposing the role to different temperatures and agricultural production environments.
