Job description

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an experienced Senior Partner Marketing Manager to build awareness, create demand and drive revenue with Global System Integrator (GSI) and Multi-national SI/Consulting Partners in North America. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in an exciting, fast growing business.
This position will be managing the strategic marketing plans for 4-6 large System Integrator, Reseller or Consulting partners. The ideal candidate needs to be able to drive strategic, comprehensive, marketing plans at the highest levels of the organization. Marketing experience with a breadth of channel partners is a must. The goals for this position are to collaborate with the dedicated sales team to design, develop, implement, and measure successful marketing programs that help meet the account objectives. They need to drive partner generated leads, maximize marketing funds, and acquire new customers.
The candidate will have a demonstrated history of building and executing high-impact, data-driven marketing programs with and through large consulting partners. They should be able to build foundational marketing mechanisms, while thinking big on behalf of their customer/partner. They will have experience partnering closely with sales teams to deliver joint account content and programs. They will have excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, executive presence, as well as project and account management skills.
They will be expected to 1/ Develop and own the strategic marketing plan for the partner. 2/ Develop a comprehensive annual marketing strategy and plan that is aligned with GTMs, partner marketing, and global marketing counterparts. 3/ Plan and deliver demand generation programs executed with the partner to acquire new customers, including integrated campaigns, events, and digital marketing. 4/ Work closely with the GTMS organization to understand their priorities and enable them to meet their objectives with focused lead gen activities. 6/ Participates as key stakeholder and business partner with the Americas GTMS, partner marketing, and field marketing leadership. This includes participating in business reviews, providing monthly and quarterly marketing updates, and providing ongoing updates to key stakeholder's teams.
The ideal candidate will have creative marketing ideas to combine with extensive analytic and data-driven customer demand generation experience working at a technology company or Global System Integrator. They should be detail-oriented and organized, capable of handling multiple projects at once, and comfortable dealing with ambiguity and rapidly changing priorities. They will work closely with the partners and the partner sales team to identify specific customer segments and industry verticals to market to with a joint value proposition for adopting AWS. This role requires excellent collaboration and relationship-building skills as they will be required to engage with Product Marketing, Global & Regional Partner Marketing Teams, the AWS Sponsorship Teams, the Partner Sales and Solution Architect organization to execute marketing programs for the Americas. They will be the voice of our partner and customer needs into various internal stakeholders and will share best practices across regions. In addition, they will also be required to manage outside vendors to execute programs and achieve goals, including not limited to, managing Account Based Marketing programs, broad-scale partner programs, etc. They will be expected to Develop and own the Americas strategic marketing plan to drive demand for AWS solutions with new and existing customers, focused on Mid-Market and Enterprise segments.
Key job responsibilities
Work closely with global Partner Marketing, Field Marketing and Partner Business Development (PDM) sales teams to align priorities and develop partner marketing initiatives.
Define annual joint marketing strategies, objectives and measures of success with the GSI partner's marketing team
Develop and execute best-in-class partner co-marketing plans that effectively drive awareness and adoption of AWS compute services
• Manage annual partner marketing budget- generating partner-led opportunities, tracking accruals, marketing spend and reimbursement claims
About the team
The North America Partner Marketing team works with top AWS Consulting Partners to develop and execute marketing strategies that align to the partner sales objectives and generate AWS partner-led opportunities. The Sr. PMM will work across many stakeholders to include the partner in appropriate AWS-led marketing motions and amplify the partners' unique value-add. The Sr. PMM will plan and execute marketing campaigns and measure ROI. This role requires tight alignment with regional partner development managers (PDMs) and global counterparts.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
- Experience developing and executing campaigns across a multitude of timezones and languages
- 8+ years of developing and managing acquisition marketing or channel programs experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience driving direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams and agency partners
- Experience designing and executing joint marketing plans with strategic alliance partners with global footprint
- Experience marketing Cloud services
- Experience leveraging generative AI tools for marketing

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
