Job Summary:
Tailored Brands, Inc. is North America’s leading specialty retailer of menswear, and they are seeking a Sr Integration Engineer to join their Tailored Technology team. This role involves solving complex integration challenges and building scalable enterprise connectivity solutions to support the company's strategic business objectives.
Responsibilities:
• Analyze, design, and implement integration solutions for both on-premises and cloud-based systems.
• Contribute to the design and development of secure, scalable integration solutions, following established architecture standards and best practices.
• Integrate data from multiple sources, ensuring compatibility and reliable data flow between on-premises and cloud platforms.
• Develop and maintain integration pipelines, with a focus on Google Cloud Dataflow, to support business and data use cases.
• Create and maintain documentation for data flows, integration points, and configurations to support ongoing operations and knowledge sharing.
• Monitor integration pipelines, identify performance issues, and troubleshooting failures to ensure system reliability.
• Work with project stakeholders to support delivery timelines, manage assigned tasks, and communicate progress and risks.
• Investigate and resolve technical issues, applying sound problem-solving skills and escalating when appropriate.
• Collaborate with team members and contribute to integration and data initiatives as an active team participant.
• Partner with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders, to understand requirements and deliver effective integration solutions.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 5+ years of experience developing and supporting enterprise integration solutions.
• Hands-on experience with cloud integration technologies such as Google Cloud Dataflow, Cloud Run, Cloud Scheduler/Composer, GCP Application Integration, and Apigee, along with development using Java and frameworks like Apache Beam and Maven.
• Working knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with XML and JSON technologies, including XSLT, XPath, and XSD, and familiarity with enterprise integration platforms such as the TIBCO suite.
• Exposure to messaging systems such as IBM MQ and API gateway technologies.
• Experience developing and consuming SOAP and RESTful web services, with the ability to troubleshoot and debug integration issues.
• Understanding of SOA principles and API design best practices, with experience contributing to REST API implementations.
• Familiarity with relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, DB2, or SQL Server, as well as Google Cloud databases like Cloud SQL, and BigQuery, with the ability to write and optimize SQL queries.
• Experience using testing and debugging tools such as SoapUI, Postman, JMeter, and unit testing frameworks like JUnit.
• Proficiency with version control systems such as Git for collaborative development.
• Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams including QA, business analysts, and project managers.
• Ability to work independently on assigned tasks, with a strong problem-solving mindset and willingness to seek guidance when needed.
• Adaptability and eagerness to learn new technologies, especially within cloud and integration ecosystems.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
