Role Overview
Build Now is seeking a Technical Project Manager Instructor professional with data center construction expertise to transition into a leadership-focused instructional role.
This role is ideal for professionals who want to pass on real-world knowledge, mentor the next generation of project leaders, and contribute to the growth of the skilled construction workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver instructor-led training using established curriculum and lesson plans 
  • Maintain classroom discipline, instructional flow, and professional standards 
  • Track and report student attendance, participation, and performance 
  • Enforce testing integrity and adherence to school policies 
  • Provide real-world examples from data center construction/delivery environments 
  • Identify curriculum gaps and provide feedback for continuous improvement of curriculum, lesson plans, and assessments
  • Communicate material, supply, and equipment needs proactively 
  • Model professionalism, accountability, and operational discipline
  • Demonstrate continued professional development in project management practices   
  • Perform additional duties as assigned (i.e. curriculum development)

Qualifications:
Required Experience & Skills
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a data center construction project manager
  • Demonstrated leadership and ability to instruct, mentor, or train others 
  • Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic digital tools 

Preferred Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in data center construction project management
  • Trade-level experience in mission-critical facilities (data centers, hospitals, industrial plants, or military systems) 
  • Military background a plus 

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)  
  • Technical training or certifications in mechanical/electrical systems (preferred)  
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Systems, Civil), Construction Management, or Business 

Certifications (Required or obtained within 30 days)
  • PMP (preferred)

Schedule & Work Environment
  • Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM CST/CDT
  • Remote
